Visit to the Print Exhibition by the
Finnish Ambassador & party   JRR
The exhibition of members' prints was officially opened on the 4th September, by the Mayor of Devizes, Cllr. Mrs Sue Evans, who described the event as the best photographic exhibition she had attended! Colin Harrison FRPS EFIAP MFIAP MPAGB judged the photographs and found the overall standard very high. His compliments went to the club committee for the superb presentation. Thank you to all those who helped put the exhibition together. Photographic equipment - from pin-hole cameras to ultra-modern silcon chips and wafers, as well as photographs from photographers from Tornio, Finland, are on view in the downstairs gallery.   LS

Ambassadors wifeviewing the printsOn Tuesday, 6th September, the Finnish Ambassador, Mr Pekka Huhtaniem and his wife, as well as the Mayor of Tornio and other members of the delegation from Finland, visited the Museum.
They viewed the prints by the photographers from Tornio and, after viewing some highlights in the Museum, they visited the Devizes Camera Club Print Exhibition. They were all most impressed with our photographs!  JRR
