Devizes Camera Club

A Battle is the name given to a competition between 2 or more camera clubs.
Competitions may be digital or prints or a combination of both.
Members can submit entries for selection to represent Devizes CC
Please see details under each Battle listed below and send your entries in early.
Once the closing date for entries has passed then a selection committee will meet to choose which images will go forward to represent Devizes Camera Club in the relevant Battle. All images submitted by members will be given equal consideration and in the case of digital images, retained for future Battles in the 2012/2013 season.
Different images may be chosen by the selection committee for each Battle, so if one of your images wasn't chosen for one Battle it may represent the club in a future Battle.

Members are invited to come to the Battles and support the club.

Saturday 14 July University of Warwick
This prestigious national competition is for the top 38 clubs in the country and Devizes is included!!

2011 Results   A win for Devizes!

Kingswood Salver 2012

This is an annual competition for clubs organised by the WCPF (Western Counties Photographic Federation). Each Club's entry comprises a panel of 5 images on a theme, with each image being taken by a different photographer, the challenge is in getting all 5 images to work well together as a panel of images. The theme for the panel is open for the individual clubs to select for themselves.
Devizes Camera Club will be entering this competition in 2013.
Details of theme will be announced later.
To be held on Saturday 10 November 2012 at Clyst St Mary.

G.B. CUP 2013

This is a National Competition for projected images organised by the PAGB for clubs from the UK.
2013 entry date yet to be announced
Devizes CC came a very creditable 29th out of 139 clubs in the Open section
and 34th out of 130 clubs in the Nature section in 2012
